What is Phook?
Phook stands for "Photo-book" and is a free Social Photo Search Engine (currently available for Facebook). It allows users to search inside thousands of photos of friends easily. Phook has been designed, created and developed by Gianpiero Costantino and Daniele Sgandurra of the Institute for Informatics and Telematics, CNR.
Why is Phook a beta application?
Phook is still a novel application under development and may not be totally 100% bug-free.

Why I got the message "Service Temporarily Busy"?
Since Phook is still beta, the number of cuncurrent incoming connections is limited in order to keep a good level of efficency. In addition, due to Facebook-Policy of concurrent incoming connections to their servers, Phook has to limit the connections load. However, we are working to avoid this limitation.
Why does not Phook show all the photos of my Facebook friends?
This is because some Facebook users do not allow applications to access their personal photos.
Are all the photos stored locally on the Phook servers?
No. Phook does not store locally any photo of Facebook users. All the photos are shown in the same way done by Facebook.
Is Phook a free Web application?
Yes. Phook is a free Web application.
